The Boston office for a bi-coastal therapeutics outfit takes advantage of it’s prime views of the city skyline, the seaport harbor, and South Boston by creating wide open work spaces in both the lab and office portions of the space.  The halves are joined by large glass partitions that allow full transparency between the two functions.  A central core of closed function-specific clean labs and circulation leaves the perimeter open lab and office workstations free to take advantage of the building’s 11′ tall windows and long column span spaces.

A variety of sizes of meeting rooms, from large board rooms to single use focus room, are grouped in small blocks that break up the workstation areas into smaller teams and provide nearby private and quiet spaces.

The company ethos is represented in their bright colored branding, and echoed throughout the space with both boldly painted walls and colored film on the glass of meeting rooms.   Dramatic cuts in the colorful walls lead directly into cut patterns of the flooring layout to lead from zone to zone in the space, creating a feeling of movement from one end of the suite to the other.
