Thomas White received his B.Arch. from Roger Williams University and his M.Arch. from the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1994.
Prior to joining the firm formerly known as Andrew Cohen Architects, Mr. White was the principal designer for competition projects with Reinhold Mahler Architekten, working on large-scale buildings and urban design for Berlin and Munich, Germany.
Joining ACTWO in 1995, he became the firm’s chief designer and project architect. His extraordinary design talent and understanding of the total project has helped lead ACTWO to a succession of Awards, starting in 2004 with the multiple award-winning Springstep Center for Contemporary and Traditional arts in Medford, MA.

Mr. White is a member of the Boston Society of Architects and the American Institute of Architects. He is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts. In addition, he is a LEED accredited professional with the US Green Building Council. Mr. White is actively involved in technical building envelope issues, through both the firm and participation in the B.S.A. Building Enclosure Council.

His commitment to community service is exemplified through his participation as a member of the Wayland, MA Zoning Board of Appeals.

Thomas White is fanatically interested in traveling and exploring the built environment, supporting modern theater, and is also an accomplished sailor.
